Golden Soy Milk with Turmeric and Ginger
Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon ginger powder or 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger root
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 2 cups plain, vanilla, or chocolate soy milk
- 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup, optional
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes, whisking briskly until frothy.
- Pour into two mugs, sprinkle with additional spices, and sweeten if desired.
Tips:
- For extra protein, stir in 1 tablespoon of vanilla or chocolate soy protein powder.
- For a cold version, chill prepared golden milk and serve over ice.
